Care
Treatments
Primarily manual, adapted to each patient's presentation.
Acute pain
Generally rapid response
Most patients with no long-term history notice significant improvement within two weeks, after four to six treatments.
One factor is crucial for quick recovery: doing the "first aid" exercises at home. These are simple movements that extend the treatment between sessions.
Chronic pain
When pain becomes persistent
Persistent musculoskeletal pain is managed like a long-term condition, similar to asthma or diabetes: rarely a single solution, but control that is built over time.
Treatment aims to retrain the body to increase activity level at a safe pace for the tissues, allowing them time to regenerate and strengthen.
The "first aid" exercises help get through flare-ups and regain control over pain during the process.
